A wild week has ended with the books blowing out to a big early lead and then extending in upper stretch (Saturday) only to see the public come charging late Sunday (as usual in the NFL) to cut the gap.

Let’s start with Monday where the books did ok with the Rutgers Cincy game, it was a small win for the house but did real well as the public and the wiseguys were on Florida State in the late game and Miami Florida’s win made for a nice opener for the week. On Thursday, the books won both sides picking up Clemson in a great comeback to cover only losing the game by three and also winning the NFL opener needing the Titans +6 to make for a nice evening.

Saturday was one of the greatest college days for books in recent memory, the biggest public games (North Carolina, Notre Dame, UCLA, Oklahoma State, and USC) all failed to cover and it was a sweep oh the biggest five games on the board for the house. The public did win some games like TCU -11 and Kansas -12 but gave them equally back on games like Northwestern -19 and Missouri -19 to make for a grand day for the house.

But the players didn’t give up and throttled the books on Sunday winning their four biggest games (Minnesota, Dallas, New Orleans and Baltimore) and also getting a miracle late TD by Green Bay to put the icing on the cake. All in all an ok week for the house but an ominous and rocky start in the NFL.

Good luck to the players, talk to you next week!
